Welcome to my Maya world

I was honored to exhibit the Maya show for the first time at the Perrella Gallery in 2012. It was on display for over three months and well-received. I gave two presentations: one about my inspirations and the other about my art-making processes. In addition, I was thrilled that Paul Pines, my kindred Maya brother, agreed to give a presentation of his philosophies and a reading of his poetry about Mayan culture. The entire gallery experience was beyond my expectations. Thank you, Joel Chapin and Olof Jansson.

So many people that didn't get to experience the exhibition find it challenging to visualize how the two-and-three dimensional artwork mesh together to form a cohesive whole. Knowing this encouraged me to photograph the exhibit at Perrella Gallery and present it to you here.

Currently, I'm searching for other venues that will benefit both the project and the gallery, and I'm sure the exhibit will change and grow as it moves around.

Enjoy and be well.
